How would you define ‘happy things?’ Are they things that brighten up your day? Are they things that bring you cheer when you have them near? To me, life is too short to not have happy things around you so Snack-ing all the wayyyyy. Cheer up, guys :D

This is natural — during adolescence, a person's body demands more nutrients to grow.Snacks are a terrific way to satisfy that hunger and get all the vitamins and nutrients your body needs. But you need to pay attention to what you eat. To keep energy levels going — and avoid weight gain — steer clear of foods with lots of simple carbohydrates (sugars) like candy bars or soda. Look for foods that contain complex carbohydrates like whole-grain breads and cereals and combine them with protein-rich snacks such as peanut butter or low-fat yogurt or cheese.

    Sticky Sticky !!!

Sticky is a group of highly skilled and dedicated confectioners, recognised internationally as specialists in high quality, hand-made, rock candy style lollies and candy art for weddings and corporate promotions.

They are 100% Gluten Free. They are made with GLUCOSE which is derived from wheat, but contain 0% Gluten.
Although it is a wonderful preservative, the nature of sugar is that it wants to be a crystal. After about 6 months, the candy will begin to crystallise, the colours will start to fade, and the texture will change. Still eat it, but it won't be quite as beautiful for ever.

    Let's Stickyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

    Love ICE CREAM

Ice-cream is the most popular desert in our country and everyone from a child to an older person seems to be delighted with the thought of eating ice-cream. Did you ever try to know why we love ice-cream so much? It is the taste and the texture of ice-cream that makes it desirous for everyone!!!

Actually we can eat ice cream in a healthy way.
Don't Use So Many Toppings On Your Ice Cream,
Whether you use whipped cream, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, or cherries, the amount of calories that can be found in these toppings are often either equal to or more than the amount of calories that is found in the ice cream you are eating. Secondly, try low fat or fat free ice cream or eat ice cream that is pre-packaged is a great way to stick to portion sizes.

    Shimino ^^

Shimino originated from Harajuku of Japan offers a wide range of flavoured crepes such as Banana Chocolate Crepe or Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe and many others!!! It is a MUST TO TRY !!!

This video show us the way to make crepe

    PEARL MILK TEA

Originally made famous as a children’s drink in Taiwan during the late 80s, this unique drink has since gained a following in many parts of the Western world, especially those with large Chinese populations. Bubble tea also goes by many names including pearl milk tea, boba tea, tapioca iced tea, pearl shake, and zhen zhu nai cha in Chinese.

But what really adds the extra touch to bubble tea is the addition of tapioca balls, or pearls, found at the base of the beverage. These pearls are made of tapioca starch, which comes from the roots of the bitter-cassava plant, also known as manioc or yucca. It is native to South America, and a major source of carbohydrates.Generally, low-fat milk and sugar-free drinks are available options. Pearls can also be substituted with nata de coco, which are high in dietary fibre and low in cholesterol. So on average, a pearl milk tea is no less healthy than a soft drink or a cappuccino.

The Best drink ever – CHATIME PEARL MILK TEA!!! I got addicted until 3-4 cups in a week. This is a famous Bubble Tea come from Taiwan, the taste is very different compare with those sold in pasar malam. The pearls is really chewy enough. *Thumbs up*

    SNOW FLAKE

Another Taiwanese Food!!!  Snowflake’s Taro Ball is as good as the one from JiuFen, Taiwan. Snowflake’s desserts are perfect for someone who is looking for something not too sweet and a quick cool down from the scorching heat. *Thumbs up*

The chain serves both hot and cold desserts, and you can even set your own level of sweetness. Which is good news for diabetics. For the rest of us, it's one buzzing trip to sugar-land that you won't forget.

    Cheesecake Lover

As we all know, CHEESECAKE is an all-American favorite dessert. What can be more soothing to the soul, tummy-filling and sociable than having a piece of CHEESECAKE ?? These are just some of the reasons why I love cheesecake. Just thinking about cheesecake sets my mouth to watering for a big piece of the light, airy confection made with a graham cracker crust and smooth creamy vanilla filling, especially with my favorite Oreo. *make one's mouth water* Then you will know why I love cheesecake :D

Eating cheesecake regularly will undoubtedly have its drawbacks. Because its primary ingredients are cream cheese and sugar. It is very high in calories, fat, and of course, sugar. Too much fat is detrimental to one's vascular/heart health and weight. Excess sugar can also lead to insulin resistance, which is a precursor to diabetes. However, cheesecake doesn't have to be all bad. Cheese is high in calcium and vitamins, so there is some nutritional benefit to having cheesecake. One also gets an emotional benefit from eating cheesecake on occasion. Sugary foods are rich in carbohydrates, which activate the pleasure center in our brains and release serotonin, a neurotransmitter that regulates sleep and mood. The key here is moderation, especially because one can actually become addicted to this sugar "high" that cheesecake and other sweets produce.

    Sushi-ING

According to reports, the Japanese have lower rates of heart disease than most other countries. Their secret may be down to their diet. Those staple sushi ingredient, seaweed (types include nori, wakame and konbu) is also high in minerals, vitamins A, C and B12 and protein. Ginger, the highly aromatic root used to add heat to soups, stir fries and sushi, is also believed to work wonders, lowering cholesterol, preventing arthritis and could be beneficial to those at risk of blood clots as it is thought to contain a compound which stops platelets sticking together.Tofu and mushrooms are also a large part of the Japanese diet. Tofu is high in protein and low in fat, and shitake mushrooms are believed to enhance the body’s immune system to help control infections.

I LOVE Japanese Food food a lot, such as sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki, miso soup and so on… All are just too delicioussssss…………… For me, Japanese cuisine is just too attractive!!! :D

    Italiannies

At Italiannies, this rich tradition is followed faithfully, with an ambience resembling authentic everyday Italian households and an amiable staff. “A’more di Merrier” is the Italiannies shared presentation menu concept. It encourages guests to share their orders in the true Italian tradition as they believe strongly that the best ingredient for an enjoyable dining experience is some company to share good food with.

I love that Italiannies still maintains the complimentary bread service at the beginning of every meal. The Tuscan bread that we had was fresh, soft and warm, exactly how I’d love my bread to be. I ate the Focaccia with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

    Never Skip Breakfast

MORNING!!! Eating a GOOD AND HEALTHY breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day ^^ I never skip my breakfast, otherwise I would likely to become tired coz of my brain and body run low on fuel. A healthy breakfast should contain some protein and some fiber. There are a lots of benefits of eating a healthy breakfast such as lowers cholesterol level, improves concentrations, aids weight loss and keeps blood sugar level stable.
For me, McD Breakfast and Oldtown breakfast set always be my best choices… *Yummy Yummy* Remember that you have choices that can lead to a healthy life and deter those unwanted consequences of not having a healthy breakfast.
